Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and softish palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts with smooth creamy dark chocolate. An unexpected caramel steak blends in well. Nice fruity bourbon is topped with light smooth coconut. Finishes with the ripe fruit laden coming back and bringing a mild boozy spice with it. One of those impies where everything just sings. Spiffin!

Bottle at home, from an online peddler whom I can't recall, 28/10/23. 2019 vintage. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is dark malts, bourbon, molasses, coconut fudge, toffee, brown sugar melt. Taste comprises dark malts, Bertie Basset coconut liquorice, chocolate notes, bourbon oak, dried fruit rinds, spice, subtle booze. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced whack of bourbon and alcohol. Top drawer strong.

2019 bottle shared by Erik on his B-day. Full body, but not too full. Med-light carbonation, but not too light.high sweetness, med-high roasted bitterness, medium soft warmth, everything very pleasantly rounded and held just shy of being too much. Loads of chocolate, cocoa, med-high coffee, toffee, coconut. Moderate bourbon and woody and med-light vanilla flavours. Very very pleasant sipper, great beer. Complex, intense, yet with perfect balance.
