This year’s release of B-Bomb is aged in 8–12-year-old American Oak bourbon barrels and is a blend of 9, 12, and 24-month old barrel-aged Winter Ale. This special edition adds toasted coconut to complement the bourbon, oak, cacao, leather, toffee, and dark coffee notes achieved from its extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note, and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure. Please do enjoy this unique barrel-aged ale today but know that Coconut Edition B-Bomb will age gracefully for years to come. Don’t Be Afraid To Be Abominable.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and softish palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts with smooth creamy dark chocolate. An unexpected caramel steak blends in well. Nice fruity bourbon is topped with light smooth coconut. Finishes with the ripe fruit laden coming back and bringing a mild boozy spice with it. One of those impies where everything just sings. Spiffin!

Bottle at home, from an online peddler whom I can't recall, 28/10/23. 2019 vintage. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is dark malts, bourbon, molasses, coconut fudge, toffee, brown sugar melt. Taste comprises dark malts, Bertie Basset coconut liquorice, chocolate notes, bourbon oak, dried fruit rinds, spice, subtle booze. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced whack of bourbon and alcohol. Top drawer strong.
