Coral Horizon is a blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 16 months with late infusions of grapefruit zest, hibiscus tea and freshly chopped ginger root. Pouring a brilliant coral-red hue reminiscent of a summer sunset, this small batch blend offers a soft, approachable acidity level with aromas of ruby red grapefruit and a refreshing ginger spice.

On tap at Cascade, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light hibiscus, lots of ginger, and some grapefruit zest. Flavour is lightly sweet, with ginger, grapefruit zest, some tart citrus, and a hint of floral notes. Surprisingly nice mix of adjuncts, with a gently tart, even more gently sweet finish. Good stuff.

On tap @ Ghetto Something. Aroma of citrus peel, ginger, tea and white wine. Pours clear amber color with large soapy off-white head, fair lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts tart vinous, grainy and berry-like, following is woody and zesty with ginger note, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Excellence on horizon…

Tap at OBF 2019. Pours clear, bright copper with a white head. Aroma: sour; zest; ginger. Med + body. Flavor: lightly sour and quite a lot of ginger. I like ginger. This is tasty and excellent.
