You wouldn't stand a chance trying to shine a light through your glass, as it would simply absorb it.
Pours a nice dark brown head, has a massive body. Chocolate Imperial Stout should cover the tasting notes quite well. Cheers!

Guess who's back? The 2.0 version of Code d'Or, our collab with Brouwerij Bravoure. This Chocolate Imperial Stout is even darker, more sticky and thicker than the initial brew.

Bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, toffee, soft licorice and roasted malts. Quite sweet. Bit thin bodied, but otherwise a tasty dessert.

27/III/21 - 33cl bottle, 2021 version @ home, BB: III/2026, batch#: 2021012801 (2021-235) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark brown to black beer, big solid creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of coffee, very roasted, dark chocolate, bit malty, grains. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: oooh, nice, lots of roast, coffee, alcohol, bit sourish, dark chocolate notes. Aftertaste: chocolate, very roasted, bitter, quite some coffee, very thick and luscious beer. Nice stuff!
