Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Grainy malty aroma with straw and sourdough bread. Slightly -- and I mean slightly -- buttery. Flavour is moderate bitter with a sourish hint. Body is medium. Decent, just a little offbeat.

Tap at Nancy's Ballyliffin. As Nancy's own lager. A light hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a decent loose white head. Aroma is earthy straw, rustic grains, lager notes, light tangy green apple, crisp. Palate is light tart, highish prickly carbonation. Flavour is composed of rustic grains, light tang, green apple, straw,. Passable lager.
