The Pier den Drol was created on the initiative of the KBR (Royal Library of Belgium) and the Het Goudblommeke in Papier / La Fleur en Papier Doré, to celebrate the Bruegel year in Brussels in style. We did not want to make a classic witbier, but decided to make a beer close to a white, but without spices and well hopped. The old hops bring both floral notes (hawthorn flower and acacia), fruity (quince, wild strawberries), and slightly spicy (nutmeg, white pepper)

Bottle. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is grassy, wheat, fresh hops, but more classic ones. Taste is wheat, grassy, yeast, classic leafy hops. Silky mouthfeel with rather high carbonation. Tasty!
