Draft at the Stone Works Peterborough. Clear deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are caramel fruity with light spice. Full rich body, but taste below the 9%.

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the House of Trembling Madness, York and drunk at home. Mid- to dark gold with a little haze and a quickly dissipating white head. I'm getting orange juice and clove on the nose, a little bit of bubblegum. Sweet taste, kind of cloying at first but not impossible. I settle into it a little bit, it Rounds out toward the finish. More orange, bubblegum, sweet spice plus some candy sugar and soap. Light carbonation exposes the thin oily body. It doesn't taste anywhere near 9%. I can't decide quite how much I like this; it has jutting-out bits that don't quite work for me but it's well-made on the whole.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Colin. A mostly clear dull brown amber coloured pour with a a small off white head. Aroma is cedar, orange zest, some brown sugars, alcohol, perfume. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, orange rind, chammomile, some alcohol, cinnamon. Palate is semi sweet, little flabby, some alcohol bite. Adjunct forward.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 19/03/23. Hazed marmalade orange with a good sized lasting white cap. Nose is bitter orange, hay bale, herbal notes, Belgian yeast esters, light white peppery spice, stewed fruits. Taste comprises candied fruit rinds, yeast esters, dried apricots, herb, hedgerow, light white peppery spice, caramel, bread pudding, orange peel. Medium bodied with bite, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Solid Tripel ... good balance, sweet edged but with a bitter repost, delivers a boost at the curtain call.
