We used twice as much malt as we would for a pale ale and that gives this beer a deep, sweet, and complex body. We’ve made sure to match the sweetness with a lot of hops though, both in the whirlpool and through generous dry-hopping. This beer has everything you’d expect from an IPA, but turned up even higher and with a touch of alcohol warmth to the finish – perfect for the colder months.
