A fantastic dark lager from Whiplash! Delightful taste of fresh bread crust, black cherry, and a hint of fairy cakes. Crisp, finishing lightly sweet with a pleasing lingering of quality dark chocolate before it disappears again.

Pours clear dark brown with a ruby red tinge and a small, bubbly beige head, with a very subtle aroma of milk chocolate, dark fruits and bread. Carbonation is moderate, the mouthfeel being semi-smooth, and it tastes a little fruity, with the initial sweetness being displaced by a dryness that hints at roasted malt and some bitterness in the finish
