Batch 1000, a milestone on our craft beer journey. We made a long boil blond sour and barrel aged it on American oak St-Emillion (red wine) barrels. This is an exclusive project for Beer Seeker, a collaboration between the magazine Belgian Beer & Food and online beershop Etre Gourmet.

Bottle at home. Bit hazy amber red with small beige head of big bubbles. Light red wine, quite some oak, red currants, typical Alvinne sour yoghurt notes with a touch of balsamico, plums, soft flowery. Nice barrel notes here. Over medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with almost no carbonation. Quite nice!
