Panda 🐼 at home thanks to SHIG. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma is nutty malts, light toffee, spicy pine, orange rind, douglas fir. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, biuscuity toffee malts, big spicy pine needles and grass, old school vibes, firm resinous bitterness. Jammy pine. Nice west coast old school DIPA. Palate is semi sweet, sticky resin, moderate carbonation. I like it.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 08/06/21. Almost clear golden amber with a just off white cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is sweet malts, soft breads, grapefruit, pine needle, orange jelly, pineapple. Taste comprises bitter tropical fruit esters, grapefruit, pine needle, sweet malt base, grassy bite, caramel, bubblegum. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive grassy come juicy hop bitterness and a light boost. Decent enough west coast affair but perhaps lacks a touch of balance and finesse ... a touch sweet and flabby in places.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy pale ambr, small head. Dank aroma of sweaty grapefruit and hay. Dryish with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Hay and grapefruit peels, hop saturated and dank. Biscuity yet dry malt. Very biter finish. It's been a good while since I last had such a dry and drinkable DIPA that yet punches this hard.

Can from Alko. Poured dark golden in color. White head that stays. Grapefruity bitterness, caramel, malty backbone. Shows some age, but enjoyable at the moment still. Resiny hop bite. Towards the end the canned fruitiness shows and reminds me of the age of the can.
