Low on bitterness, yet high on aroma and flavour. The use of Wheat malt, plus the addition of flaked oats, gives this brew some great body.

Named after a legendary local cabin, we expect Thunder Meadows to be a hit with Fernie locals and craft beer lovers further afield. A solid IPA with delicious pine notes.

Good foam on a well carbonated medium gold body. Soft piney hops on the nose with hints of cardboard, slight honeydew melon. Flavour is a tart caramel, slight fudge and vague pine hints. Dry enough with oily hints, licorice maybe. Not a bad IPA, some unique elements here.

Clear gold with a decent white head. Grapefruit with a touch of cardboard. Pine, grapefruit and some nice malts. Old school.

473ml can. Pours a clear pale gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy lacing. Slightly dank aroma of biscuit malt, grapefruit, pine resin and weedy hops. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, grapefruit rind, lemon, floral and pine resin in a crisp, dry, bitter grass finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Even with the wheat malt and oats, I thought the body was a bit on the light side. A standard West Coast IPA.

473mL can, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Nose brings out bitter piney hops, dusty earthy notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour follows accordingly, with a dusty earthy hop character, bitter piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. The bitterness is sharp, with quite a pronounced astringency on the finish. The dustiness in the palate is also suboptimal. It's alright but needs some work.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver; tag 26/04/21 (I guess, packaged less than 3 weeks ago)
Blond colour, slight haze. Piney hops aroma, a bit of grass, of manure, of malt. Good strength, it's fairly dry, with mild crackery and biscuity malts, bold bitterness, with herbaceous and piney character. It needs more brightness with those hops, but it's a West Coast IPA brewed in a modern fashion at least.

Can. This one's only got a slight haze to its pale amber body. Decent head on it, though. Weedy and grassy - so the good and the bad side of that coin - on the nose, along with a fairly sticky malt profile. On the palate, though, it's thin. There's some bitterness, but it's still not balanced.
