Tap at the brewery taproom bermondsey. A earthy chocolate brown coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, light tang, chocolate custard, apple, woody, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, light tang chocolate roast, apple, chocolate roast. Palate is semi sweet, light tang. Mellow carbonation. Good.

Can from Beermoth, Manchester. Pours dark brown towards black with a tan cap. Aroma: roasted malt, coffee, cacao, vanilla, some tonka. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet with moderate bitterness. Caramel, toffee, vanilla, marshmallow, light spicy tonka. Medium to full body with tight carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Comes together nicely, good one

Can picked up at Art & Craft SW16 Mk 2 and drunk at home (09/12/2021) - Love the can! Sweet opulent chocolate malty, some more caramel and toffee like sweetness seeping in, lovely velvety mouthfeel and full body, tonka vanilla coming into the sweet lingering chocolate malty close. Gorgeous.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks zvikar. Murky dark brown to black. Candy, a bit of smokiness, marshmallow, a bit of honey, a bit of licorice, some chocolate, vanilla, a bit of tonka, sweet, some roast, a bit of alcohol. Too sweet and candy-ish.

Bottle from stamford beers direct. Jet black and thick oily colour with a thick tan head. aroma and taste are Toffee and vanilla. Lots of chocolate. Smooth velvet and creamy light to growing sweet.

"Big stout with tonka, vanilla & cacao". Confirmed, that's what it is. Clear tonka, with that sugary bread / bison grass hybrid taste. Chocolate, vanilla, nicely thick. Sweet, but not overly so, got a bitterness countering it.
