Fles thuis geprobeerd met Tobie. Het ie een robijnrood bier met een volle roze schuim. Het heeft een typische geur van rode wijn. De smaak is vol, fruitig, rode druif en cassis met een wat zoet droge afdronk.

75 cl. bottle shared with Brent @ Brent and Rianne, gift from Hilde, bought @ van Rooij Culemborg. Reddish brown with a pink head. Red wine aroma. Sweet and tart taste with a dry low-bitter finish. Aroma and taste of a red wine without the astringent tannin mouthfeel. Great wine-beer combination.

Bottle. Color: Dark red, like red wine. Pink / purple head. Aroma: Grapes, tannins, malt. Taste: Vinuous, quite strong red wine notes, dry-ish, tannins, grapeskin, malty and lightly hoppy background. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Over moderate sweet, light bitterness going to moderate at the finish, slightly vinuous tartness. Very dry, astringent mouthfeel at finish. Hard to rate as a beer. Very wine-like, very vinuous start, some more beer influences towards and at the finish. Likeable though, but not outstanding.
