Did we set the bar high by calling her a Prima donna? We sure did! but before you start judging her, get to know her a little better. Take her hand and walk for a little while trough the Italian landscape. Discover the italian Limoncello culture with some old belgian tradition in the mix. This blonde is not a traditional blonde. narcissistic as she is, she demanded to be called Limoncello Blonde. But to be honest, the demanding ‘first lady’ has a point. She reeks and tastes of Lemon, but she is still classy as she should be. At an easily drinkable 5.0% she’s not that punch in the face, if you don’t count the citrus-limoncello-whip. Malt: Pilsner Malt, Munich Malt & Cara 50 Malt Hops: Magnum, Cascade

An interesting beer, rather classical and the lemon touch is not that strong but it is well enough, fruity, a bit hazy, lime, malty, dry with a final of hop, refreshing, 14.03.21, drinking it at home, Epalinges.

Can from Pub-up-beershop, Wolvega. Aroma is citrussy with lemon, soft pale malt, lemon peel, orange. Flavour is a bit sweetish and lightly bitter. Medium body. Gentle and simple, but I kinda like it.

Can from Beer52. Semi-hazy pale gold, decent white top. Soft lemon aroma, grains, some light spruce hop. Taste of slightly doughy malt, lemon, grapefruit, moderate bitterness and semi-dry finish. Medium bodied, fairly smooth, lots of fine carbonation. Its ok.

Orange, slightly hazy with a small and very short-lived white head. Aromas of malt/grain and lemon. Taste is malt/grain, some lemon/citrus for a bitter finish. Not as sweet as feared and not unpleasant, but also not very remarkable.

On tap at Beer Temple, Amsterdam on 17th November 2022. Hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Remote citrus aroma. Lemony citrus in-mouth with a savoury, nutty transient. A finish of citrus cordial. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.
