With covid, we’ve been binge watching a lot, and as it turns out Hot Ones with host @seanseaevans and @firstwefeast is the solution to all of our needs of killing time during quarantines and just no fun times. Paul Rudd’s interview is by far our favourite and this now gif famous scene became a constant in our day to day activities at the brewery:
“We made a Hay IPA! - Hey, Look at us!”
“We cleaned up the brewing space before opening! - Hey, look at us!”
“We made it through a winter during Covid! - Hey…” You get the idea...

Hazy pale, medium head. Weedy nose, some allium, moderate bitterness, little stone fruit, pear, a few different things kicking around.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden orange with a large white head. Nose is very fruity, with lots of tropical fruits, some stone fruit, resinous hops, and lots of sweet malt. Flavour is juicy and piney, with plenty of tropical stone fruits, piney hops, a bit of resins, and just enough sweet biscuity malt. Amply fruity, not chalky at all, with decent bitterness. Not the most vibrant IIPA, but it's well-balanced and the clarity is good -- sort of like a east/west coast hybrid. Very good.

Really nice solid foam on the thing, cloudy tangerine body. Nice sweet orange creamsicle aroma, soft pine, vague grain. Flavour is juicy pine, slight mandarin orange notes. Refreshing with some mellow oiliness but bitterness seems misplaced. Still quite nicely done.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour with a large, thick, persistent head. Aroma of fruits, grapes, flour. Good body strength, dry mouthfeel; there's a clash between the grain base that is flour-y and chalky, and the hopping that is fruity (grapes and sweet citrus).
Good hopping, but dirty base; positive first impression, but getting harder to drink sip after sip.
