Pineapple Sour w. Pink Sea Salt (Fruited Gose)
This light and refreshing tart blends together the sweetness of pineapple, the acidity of our sour ale base, and gentle salinity from the sea salt into a beautiful, summer crusher!

473ml can. Pours a hazy blonde with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, pineapple and funky lacto. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, pineapple, floral hops and a hint of salt in a dry, acidic, tart lacto finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Juicy and refreshing.

On tap at Darby's, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle pineapple, salt, and lacto. Flavour is mineraly, with plenty of salt, pineapple and lacto. Not authentic in any way. Nothing all that impressive here but it's made semi-competently I suppose.

Cloudy yellow body and modest foam. Vague rancid pineapple on the nose. Taste is pineapple, slight grain notes, ending smooth and slightly dry. Not bringing as much to the table as it could.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy blonde with white head. Below average pineapple lacto kettle sour with hint of salt. No thanks.

Effervescent gold. Briny with a touch of pineapple. Light soured fruit with a light briny finish. Not bad, but pineapple really doesn't come through.

It's a hazy thing, pretty dull looking. It's about as advertised, with a light pineapple character, a moderate sourness, a dash of salt. Not much for malt, and certainly not going to win any prizes, but it comes as advertised, is serviceable in that respect, and that's that.
