Bottle. Pours clear black, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is vanilla, roast, light bourbon. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter. Too much vanilla, too little barrel.

Bottle from Transient. Pours a deep brown with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Pours thick like chocolate milk almost. Big bourbon notes on the nose with vanilla bean, vanilla oak and warming bourbon aromas. More of the same on the palate with lots of oaky, barrel flavors with vanilla, bourbon, light pepper and wood that lingers. Some bitterness balances out the sweetness. Not overly sweet for the style. Solid beer.
