Black Bean is a bit Malevich here, but this beer was born as a kinda joke for black Friday. A black imperial stout, fullbodied with black tonka beans. These magical beans reminds some people of dried cherries, some of cinnamon, some of vanilla, and sometimes all of those. Well, it seems it's our first beer which have grown from super tiny batch into more, and all this thanks to your feedback. So this beer is yours as it is ours.

Small cream-tan head, fast gone over almost black-brown beer. Cocos², tonka beans, cocosmilk. Cocos, tonka beans, Clan pipetobacco, cocosliqueur. Taste is just a tad less sweet than suggested by the nose, but the pastry grade just explodes. There's a slight if welcome acidity. Very well bodied, despite furious alcohol, oily-slick. Can bought from Hoptimaal in August 2022. Black with a small head. Sweet with cinnamon, cocoa, chocolate and mild warming alcohol. An ok one.

Grundsätzlich bin ich bei extra starken Stouts immer vorsichtig, da diese oft zu schwer und alkoholisch sind. Bei diesem in ganz Europa 🌍 bekannten Bier gelingt es aber gut, ein wohlschmeckendes Trinkbier gepaart mit einem intensiven Imperial Stout amerikanischer Prägung zu brauen. Wenn es dir eine etwas wärmere Trinktemperatur erreicht hat entfalten sich die malzigen Röstaromen nach Kaffee ☕ und Backwaren 🥐 und einem mir unbekannten Unterton, welcher wohl die angepriesenen Tonka-Bohnen sind. Das ganze liegt in einem schokoladigen 🍫 Bett. Schwer, aber ausgewogen aromatisch und wirklich zu empfehlen.

Loving the combination of the dried fruits in the body and the big cinnamon finish. Absolutely lethal, does not drink like an 11% at all. Thanks for pouring me a sample Patrick S. after I called it a night 😂

330ml can. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of tonka, dark chocolate, vanilla. Taste is very rich, tonnes of tonka, dark chocolate, vanilla, roast malts, sweet but also a coffee like bitterness. Full bodied. Superb.

Draught@Koht, Tallinn. Hazy brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is Tonka beans, some alcohol, liquorice and chocolate. Flavour is to ja beans, alcohol, liquorice and roast with some chocolate tones.

Tap at Koht. Murky dark brown colour, some brown head. Strong tonka bean aroma. Mediun-bodied with a bit watery finish. Tonka and cocoa hide alcohol. Sweetish. Neh.
