For our latest Coffee Porter series we collaborated with HasBean, brewing with coffee from three incredible producers across three different continents. This porter uses Musasa Dukunde Kawa, a washed coffee from Rwanda, in the process. This special roast carries a distinctly creamy and fresh citrus flavour on top of a rich and dark malt base.

Can that Jim shared - cheers! Brown with a beige head. Fruity berry notes up front, then coffee (obviously!), earth, leather and tobacco. Plenty of roasted malt in the finish, which fortunately just about holds off being too burnt. There's not a lot of smoothness - the rough earthy roast is to the fore - and yet it's dangerously easy to drink. Pretty good actually.

Can at home picked up from BBNo online. A hazed nutty brown coloured pour oily, fine whispy mid tan head. Aroma is earthy roast coffee, light herbal, light ash, chocolate, roasted nuts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, earthy roast, hazelnut, warming alcohol, light choco, spicy coffee notes, leather, vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, fine carbonation. . Good stuff.
