Can from EeBria. Pours a dark brown/near black with moderate sized beige head. Aroma of sweetness, roast, chocolate, flora, grass; promising. Taste starts sweet, roast, liquorice, chocolate and then tangy berries, citrus zest, resin, grass, bold bitterness. Medium bodied, slick to oily mouthfeel. Never had anything from this brewery until now but I have to say this one is excellent.

440ml can from Everyman's Wines. Pours dark with a dense tan topping. Aroma is woody with sweet dark fruits. Taste presents a pokey dark ale with a ballsy bitterness and some plump sweet malts, coarse woody echoes in the background. Not enough hop presence to put it in the Black IPA box, but certainly a characterful dark ale.
