The bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass is not very zippy, small head. Darker than exspected. Starts very malty, a bit fruity like apricot, modest sourish. Also a bit wheaty. Well balanced finish. Tastes better than it looks!

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, dusty, keller. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091021]

Hazy amber with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel notes. Flavour was sweet and breadish with malty and caramel notes. Finished sweet.

Bottle, 5.0%. Mildly sweet aroma, hint of spice. Cloudy amber colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is a little bready, mild with low bitterness. Slightly spicy with a roasted hint in the finish. OK, but not very interesting.

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel, fruit, as well as malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, caramel, grain, and malt, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle. Grass/hay and slightly sour caramel malt aroma. Hazy orange amber color with moderate beige head. Strong grass hops with a light caramel malt flavor. Nice zwickel - much hoppier than average.

Das Bier beginnt frisch mit einer milden Getreidenote, diese wird nach und nach etwas stärker. Ab dem Mittelteil erscheint eine leichte Fruchtnote, die aber schnell von einem hopfigen, leicht säuerlichen Aroma überdeckt wird. So frisch, wie das Bier startet, endet es auch, Das Getreide hat sich wieder in den Vordergrund gestellt, hinzugekommen ist eine unterstützende Gewürznote. Süffiges und harmonisches Zwickl.
