Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2022. Pours black with a dark chocolate brown head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma has nuttiness, cinnamon, bourbon and sweet dark grains supporting. Flavor has cinnamon and sweet dark grains with growing walnut and some bourbon in the finish.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Big cinnamon focused nose with chocolate, bourbon and maple syrup that lingers. Loads of real cinnamon on the palate with oak, chocolate, bourbon and light walnut notes as it warms. Good body, great nose flavors. Vanilla a bit muted, walnut and cinnamon linger and meld with bourbon and oak well. Great stuff.

Bottle, thanks to Beau for gifting me this one when he stopped at ours, split at the Grand Reunion Tasting, Watford 02/10/20. Pitch black with a decent tan head that clears to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, spice, nutty, cinnamon dusting, dark fruit esters. Taste comprises chocolate, good spice balance, molasses, mellow bourbon, maple syrup, toffee fudge, trace of coffee. full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid BA impy ... didn't get too sweet despite the syrup and carried a mellow bourbon cloak and good spice levels to balance.

Bottle shared in Watford - cheers to Colin. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour, rich dark malts, cinnamon, chocolate. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, big cinnamon, cocoa. Rich character. Very tasty.
