The enticing beer innovation! Whoever is looking for an extremely special taste experience has found it with the Zwickl Rot. Its special flavour comes from a unique beer recipe which includes melanoidin malt. A special and extremely complex malting process gives the Zwickl Rot its typical red colour and unmistakeable chocolate and caramel notes. Austria's first amber, naturally cloudy and unique unfiltered red beer was bottled in 2001.

Túlságosan is sok. Talán a Stohl Bucinak ízlene.

Draught. Deep amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, slightly beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, flowers, grains. Tastes of roasted malts, red berries, flowers, caramel, grains, herbs. Mouthfeel is medium to light, slick, with a medium carbonation and it finishes roasty, medium bitter and a bit fruity. Nice! One of the best Vienna style Lagers from Austria and one of the very few enjoyable beers from this brewery. Really nice, fresh aromas and very quaffable.

draught at Prilisauer Wien. Hazy amber-golden colour, creamy white head. Malty with caramel and a nice hoppy touch, also hints of a yeasty fruitiness.

22/01 Draught at the 3 Goldenen Kugeln, Graz. It had hazy reddish brown body with medium, slightly off white head. Weaker, sourish aroma, also peachy. Very slightly sweet caramel flavor, balanced with grass hops, but although pleasant it was quite watery. No matter of its thin body, awarded us with quite long, mostly hoppy finish, sourish to slightly bitter, with some caramel sweetness emerging at the very end. It’s definitely a Zwickl, not a Vienna, but I’m not too impressed after all.
