3/10/2023. Can courtesy of Michael enjoyed at Ipswich Speedway - Ipswich Witches vs Sheffield Tigers in the play-off final first leg (which we won 54-36). Chose this beer tonight as my Aussie rating #300 and toasted our Aussie legend Jason Doyle who scored an immaculate 15 point unbeaten maximum. A great night, and the beer was pretty good too! Cloudy pale orange gold with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy, orange, tropical, grapefruit, pine, dank notes, touch of passion fruit. Heavy hop bitterness, which mellowed a touch but not much. Medium body, quite soft carbonation. Bittering boozy finish. Enjoyable.

A nice IPA that just lacks a distinctive finish despite the 9% ABV. Aromas of pine, caramel and biscuits. Strong pine bitterness that just fails to land the killer punch.

(Can) Pours cloudy golden amber with small white head. Lovely aroma - pine, orange notes, hint of biscuit. Medium body with plenty of fine carbonation. Great taste. Very much hops from start to finish with a good long, but not over the top, bitter finish. There’s hints of caramel malt towards the start. Maybe some alcohol burn towards the end. Very nice.

Can. Unclear amber with a good cm of white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, breadcrust, pine. Barely medium bodied really. Sweet without all that much malt flavour (does this make it true to substyle?); wintery oranges join tropical fruit and pine before a moderately bitter finish.
