To celebrate the 100kw worth of solar panels CBCo installed over summer, our brewers got together and held an in-house brew comp and the winner got canned. Gone Green is a West Coast Inspired Double IPA and our biggest hopped beer to date. Using NZ Rakau and US grown Amarillo and Simcoe hops, this beer explodes with citrus and tropical notes 🍻

Can. Almost clear golden amber with a loose coat of white head. Assertive grapefruit, pine and grass aroma with some tropical lollies (and after a while some apricot). Rather empty with little for the fruity hops to sit on so it gets a bit mean before moderate resinous bitterness and a bit of astringency at the end.
