Brett IPA
A hazy, dank and piney IPA, co-fermented with Kveik and a mixed Brettanomyces culture. Big body and punch with a subtle funk.

Vibrant cloudy tan colour. Thin head. Piney and a bit weedy. This has a lot of sweet malt, too, nice and bready, and then a bunch of brettanomyces kicks into the finish. The brett and bitterness combine well in the finish as well. Lots to like here.

On tap at House of Funk, pours a cloudy bright dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is dank and funky, with a rather abrasively dank hop character, some pine, and funky brett. Flavour is pretty intense, with a nice mix of potently dank hops and funky brett, followed by juicy stone fruit, oranges, and bitter citrus rind. Now that's a unique concoction. Fruity and dank, yet gently funky. Not really abrasive at all. Very good.

Has a murky cloudy orange body and no real foam. Smells of soft spicy rye grain, vague pine, all too faint. Flavour is tart pine, kind of a citrusy sourness, but still a soft malt backbone. Crisp and oily but still refreshing. I'm conflicted about this one but still enjoying it.
