Christmas Day Christmas Beers #2 of 2. Picked up at Chuckling Cheese in Doncaster when it was operating. A bronzed dark ale, looking quite attractive, which might be its best feature. It is crisp, but perhaps a little thin for it, regular in taste, on the bland side of things. Drinkable but unexciting.

Pours black with beige head, some retention. Aroma is sweet, toasty, chocolate, nuts. Taste is the same with hint of licorice. Light to moderate body. Ok depth to this and easy drinking. Nice.

50cl bottle from Chuckling Cheese Thin brown/white head. Clear almost black pour. An easy drinking stout.
