Tight frothy beige head stayed well on a near black still body. Roast & malt aroma. Medium to thin bodied, airy on the palate, clean & dry on the back. Big roasted flavours with nut, malt, berry & bitter tangy citrus finish.

Bottle from Sir Toby's, Norwich. Black with a huge light tan head and rather a strong fizz for the style. Coffee and chocolate against a fruity background of blackcurrant and dates with a touch of fresh leafy hop. Smooth and full-bodied for the low abv. Mildly roasted finish that balances the semi-sweet beer well. Very nice porter, could maybe just reduce the fizz a tad.
