This cider is a remembrance of an "elderflower-wine" South Tyrolean farmers used to make during the hay harvest and an attempt to confer more longevity to this drink. Together, the apple and the elderflower yield a sparkling cider with a delicately aromatic note. The floral component of the elderflower is dominant in the nose, while in the mouth its flavour is mostly characterised by a tender apple note.
This cider is the perfect companion for a balmy summer night .

Zur Zeit der Holunderblüte war es auf Südtiroler Bauernhöfen Tradition, einen prickelnden "Hollerwein" zu bereiten, der während der Gärung getrunken wurde. Aus unseren Bemühungen diesem kurzlebigen Getränk eine dauerhafte From zu geben, ist der flaschenvergorene Holunder Cider hervorgegangen.
Das Floreale der Holunderblüte ist im Bouquet vorherrschend. Zu dieser Empfindung gesellt sich im Geschmack eine feine erfrischende Apfelnote. Ein angenehmer Begleiter für laue Sommerabende in geselliger Runde.

Bottle shared @Luppolo Station (Roma). Dorata brillante, un filo velata, schiuma leggera. Al naso nette note di mela, con sentori di fiori bianchi, sambuco, camomilla. In bocca è dolce, succosa, succo di mela, chiusura appena appena acidula. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Un po' giovane, ma estremamente pulita e molto promettente!
