Keg at the bow bar... Deep murky amber Brown... Thick tan head.. Soft sweet caramel woody toffee malts nose.. Toffee malts.. Caramel woody fruit.. Light something odd... Maybe little green apple.. Definitely something not working in linger for me

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - brown and with decent lacing. Nose - dried fruits, but more down the brown sugar line. Taste - more brown sugar, banana, raisins. Rum 'n' raisin. Palate - medium to full bodied and rich. Reasonably balanced if a bit sweet. Overall - good, but not really authentic for the style.

Hazy amber beer with a thick off white head. Dry bready smell with a hint of fruit. Taste is dry too, with dried fruit, caramel, a yeasty hit. It's hearty but there's not enough depth to the flavour to balance out the slight booziness fully. Not too shabby though.

Can from Cork & Cask. Deep ruby body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cherry, candy and marzipan. Flavour of wood, brown sugar, stewed tea and a sharp finish. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A nice sipper.
