Cask at Halfway House. It pours clear rich golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, biscuity malty, toasty grain and honeyed cereal. The taste is bitter - sweet, toasty grain, biscuit, citrus peel, slightly soapy, grassy and peppery spice. Finish is dry. Light to medium body and fine carbonation. Fair hote golde.

On cask somewhere in Edinburgh. Appearance - golden with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - grapefruit and pine. Taste - into pink grapefruit and blood orange. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good beer. Only 3.6% but tasty. Credit where it’s due.
