This brand new American Oak barrel was filled with our Cranberry Tart Ale and left to age. 359 days later we selected it for the 4th release on our Rack Aeri-Ale.
Light & refreshing notes of vanilla, this tart ale is softened by the medium toast of the charred barrel.

Very nice orangey brown body, some good creamy foam on top. Smells of huge acidic yeast, soft maltiness, sharp citrus. Flavour is nice tartness, soft cranberry, slight ashy wood helps elevate it. Could use a little carbonation, comes off too weak. Still pretty well balanced, the charred barrel works well here.
