We’ve taken our own juicy black currants and combined them with tart, early-picked McIntosh apples and a hint of organic clover honey.
This off-dry cider is full of ripe, rich flavours of cassis, strawberry jam, peach and raspberry with a hint of vanilla and chocolate. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced with touches of black currant and crushed cherry pit. This gives a lovely tartness, which is then slightly softened by fine bubbles. Gluten-free.

Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Bright red colour, clean. Berry aroma, some raspberry. Off-dry, with soft mouthfeel, dominant berry juice, traces of honey, the apple is hidden; not much currant depth, but it's a very enjoyable drink.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Clear medium ruby red with small white ring. Black currant and apple with a fair bit of honey character, slightly dry, while still have that sweetness.

375ml @ Phill's. Appearance: clear pale purple. Aroma: lots of honey (definitely not a hint), fermented black currants. Taste: very bubbly, currant, quite dry with some residual sweetness. Lots of black currants in the late aftertaste. Overall: good one.

375mL bottle, pours a clear dark ruby red with a tiny white head. Aroma is full of rich red currant, a touch of treacle, and a hint of red apple core. Flavour is moderately sweet, with lots of red currant, mostly fermented out honey, and some apple. Moderately acidic. Not overly complex; this doesn't have the funk that their other ciders have. It's just a lot of tart red currant. Not bad.

Pours with lively pink foam and a stormy deep ruby red body. Very good sweet black currant aroma, soft sharp apple to balance it out. Flavour is deep currant, chewy and musty, yet still very sweet in a jammy way. Nice crispness, excellent lingering sweetness. A joy to drink.
