Brussels Calling is our anniversary beer. We brew it every year since 22 December 2010, the day of our first batch in our first Brussels installations.
The base is always a blond beer, 6,5% abv, but we change the hops every year, for fun. This year we went back to Germany with a new, experimental variety. The result is a "Belgian IPA" that is really balanced and -very rare for an IPA- there is room for fermentation flavors.
Its nose is very fruity, with a mix of peach, orange, and pink grapefruit. In the mouth these flavors become longer and more intense, and they are paired with a nice malted base. A floral and slightly mentholated touch harmoniously complete the ensemble. It is structured by an elegant bitterness, that strengthens its freshness. The finale is characterized by a fruity aroma that melts into a long, dry bitterness.
Its beautiful hazy look will tell the experts that it has been massively dry-hopped!

Hazy yellow, white head. Spicy, bit yeasty, bit fruity, smooth. Easy drinkable. Nice dry bitter finish.
