Bottle from Beerdome. 2019 vintage, bottle number 243. Big roasty espresso aroma. Bit burnt, roasted malt, some cocoa and mocha, more beany coffee throughout. Flavour is pretty bitter with a mild sweetness. Medium to full body. Bitter and chalky, delivers as promised.

Bottle. Pitch black color with beige head. Aroma is good coffee, roasty, aromatic, black chocolate. Taste is coffee ground, chocolate, roast, surprisingly dry in the end. Definitely good coffee here, but could have a dash more body. Velvety mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, brown head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and herbal-grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of coffee, espresso, roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, a touch of mint, eucalyptus, resin. Taste is bitter, herbal hoppy and bitter, roasty, dark malty, notes of espresso, coffee, dark chocolate, a touch of eucalyptus, mint. Viscous texture, smooth, soft, silky and cloying palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Intense and condensed, quite bitter, alleviating carbonation, not overly complex - nice sipper.

Bottle courtesy of Kostas, cheers Kostas! Consumed at home Friday 12th December 2020 listening to Iggy Pop on 6Music we had a fantastic Boti Burgh Malai curry from The Curry Guy. Pours jet black with a cappuccino coloured head. What can I say other than these guys never cease to amaze me, this is absolutely stunning. Coffee and chocolate, indulgent flavours abound, smooth, rich, fruity, wow, just wow. Rich, easy drinking, full on (flavour wise) stunning beer, this is top notch stuff.
