Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is vinous with sweet malt, caramel, oak, toffee, red wine, marzipan, and red grapes. Flavour is medium sweet with a little astringency, light tart grape. Body is medium. I like how the red wine barrel works with the caramel toffee malt.

Ruikt flink naar hout en druivenschilletjes. Qua smaak ook. Beetje zaagsel in de smaak ook. Prima diepgang. Origineel vond ik toch lekkerder. En Jarhead is een geweldige film.

Fles. Diep donkerbruine kleur. Vineuse geur met mout en toffee. Zoete smaak met caramel, eiken, vanille. Uitgesproken wijnachtig, wat alcohol op de achtergrond. Lekker hoor.

Bottle. Brown-ish pour. Aroma of vineus red grape, oak, caramel fudge, vanilla cherry and raisin. Taste has malty buttery caramel, raisin, vanilla, oak, molasses, honey, vineus red grape, wine tannine and a bitter malty okay finish. Strange beer, heavy on the red wine with quite some caramel. Interesting.

Small gusher. Loads of wine and barrel present. Below that red fruit (cherries). Sweet and heavy, with loads of flavour. Whole bunch of wood, and a certain sharpness I can't place, almost spiced. Delicious, though.

Bottle [huge thanks bierkoning!!] @ home. Unclear dark brown color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, sourish, unripe fruit and red wine. Taste malts, again sourish (oak barrel tart), dark malts, dark fruits, lightly alcohol, red wine. Full body, decent to medium carbonation. Solid as always.

Bottle at home, thanks to Bierkoning! Hazy dark brown with very big beige head that only lasts half a minute or so. Lively stuff! Raisins, caramel, quite some grapes and berries too. Vanilla oak, light alcohol, soft milk chocolate, marzipan, lots of sweet malts. Over medium sweet, light bitter and a light fruity tart touch. Over medium bodied with low carbonation for such a lively beer. Pretty good!

Bottle shared @ Koelschtrinker's Tasting. Smooth nice red woody beginning. Very soft, round and malty with red mine parts. The wood is smooth and round, nice caramel, wood and red dry malty. Soft and woody, very nice with a not too sweetish caramelly ending.
