Cabernet Sauvignon barrel aged Imperial Saison with berries ABV 10% IBU 22. Massive notes of berries, dark cherries, currants, cab sav grape, with a malty, bread crust like backbone. A light pepper, vanilla and woody note compliment this very dangerously drinkable imperial saison.

Deep red with a small white head. Marzipan and cherry. Cherry and that weird marzipan note. Odd and artificial.

500ml on Phill's deck. Appearance: hazy copper with a white head. Aroma: some weird dirty fruity character. Taste: along the same lines, boozy and harsh. Overall: meh.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Red with off-white head. Wood, light vanilla, berry, saison yeast. Quite unbalanced.

500mL bottle, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is full of saison yeast, red berries, earthy notes, and alcohol. Flavour brings out lots of red berries, alcohol, and rustic saison yeast. Boozy and perfumey, with a very strange flavour profile. Odd stuff. Unconvincing.

A deep dark reddish saison with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of dark fruits, black berries, light caramel notes, faint grapeskins, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity saison dark blackberry, raspberry, light caramel and butterscotch, pleasant. On tap at Kingston Brewing Company.
