Abbey, so called in tribute to the München monks who first pioneered this traditional German style, is a rich and malty doppelbock with a distinctive ever-classic edge. Smooth mouth-feel with mild hop and assertive malty aroma.

Can at home, picked up from MS HW, 17/06/21. Deep chestnut brown with a billowing faded beige cap that stays for the show ... a handsome bier for sure! Nose is nutty, toffee, tobacco, dried fruit esters, light herb. Taste comprises fruit cake, dried fruits, dates, brown sugars, toffee, light herb, dark malts, pinch of spice. Medium bodied, gentle massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a suggestion of alcohol. Solid tasty Bock this juan !
