Amber. Aroma is wood, some caramel, a little marzipan, a little fruit, lots of chalk. Taste is slight sour with sweet caramel middleground and some alcohol later. Complex. Not bad.

75cl swing top bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of sweet and strong malt, wood and grains. Taste of moderate sweet pale malt, grains, wood.

Bottle. Clear amber, offwhite head. Light wooden boozy, grape schnaps, paint stripper. Medium body, mellow sparkly, grape and tonic, fusel oils, meh.

Bottle. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is fruitcake, jam, vanilla, oak, very nice and intense. Taste is fruitcake, caramel, powdered sugar, lightly earthy. Sweetish jammy finish, medium, but quite foamy carbonation. Surprisingly good.
