Das Schlachtross Odins ist schnell und elegant, ruhig und doch kraftvoll. Sein Name bedeutet der Dahingleitende und so gleitet Sleipnir, den Allvater im Sattel, auf seinen acht Beinen gleichermaßen über Wasser, durch die Luft und über die Länder der neun Welten.Unser Helles erinnert an das sagenumwobene Pferd des nordischen Göttervaters.
Sein (feier)abendlicher Genuss ist ein Dahingleiten über die Geschehnisse des Tages.Sleipnir ist ein köstlich-frischer, trinkfreudiger und ausgewogener Kumpan, der Dir zuweilen nach dem Genuss des siebten Bieres zuruft: „Auf sieben Beinen kann man nicht stehen“.

03.02.2020 - 0.33l bottle from kalea adventskalender, danke amely! bb 06.05.2020. pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium head. in the beginning mostly apples on the nose and mouth, very czech-like. later more dough, mead, and funky sour malts. flavour of malts, berries. it is interesting how much the aroma changes shortly after pouring.

Benannt ist das Bier nach dem achtbeinigen Pferd des nordischen Gottes Odin, das auch das Etiktt ziert. Es ist ein süffiges Helles, das nicht nur als schnell und angenehm zu trinken beworben wird, sondern auch im Geschmack zu finden ist. Ein nicht zu herbes Helles, das aber doch hopfige Akzente setzt und einen gemütlichen Feierabend ermöglicht.

Bottle. Yellow orange color with thick white head. Aroma of malt, grain, yeast, hops. Taste, malty base followed by light hoppy bitterness. Easy drinkable, good example of style.

Bottle from Kalea advent calendar 2019. Slight gold haze lasting white head. A lime and lemon accented helles. Light in the malts. Aroma is just about ok, flavour is quite good like lemon and lime and then some bitterness on the finish. OK.

Bottle: Pale golden, hazy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing creamy white head, moderate sweetish-grainy nose with some honey in the background, traces of herbal hops around; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft but a bit sticky; slightly lingering sweetish-grainy finish with a mild, but increasing happiness in the aftertaste. Chapeau! A well crafted Helles, far better than expected...

Golden. Aroma is a little khaki and herbal white bread some light grassy touch. Taste is strange bitterness very grassy juicy, also a heavy bready sweetness. Somehow off. Not balanced.

Bottle. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is grassy hops, Mittelfrüh-style, grains, light sulphury yeast. Taste is grassy, grainy, nice hops. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite nice, like I lime it.
