Burk på biskoppensvapen. En nästan red ale färgad dryck. Jag klunkar på och smultrongodis och tydligt med vanilj . Udda smaksatt rätt söt Dipa som är rätt god faktiskt

Can from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours slightly hazy dark amber to light brown with medium white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, port wine, oak barrels, salted fudge, walnuts, maple syrup and vanilla. Taste is medium to very sweet, faint to light bitter and faint salty. Body is creamy with light carbonation. Finish is long and very sweet when notes of dried fruit, malt, caramel, fudge, port wine, oak barrel aged wine and spice (nutmeg, cinnamon). Very well balanced and smooth.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Misty red-orange body, off-white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Quite promising mid-sweet smell of berry skins and doughy malts. Vanilla sweet taste with dried fruits, dough, berries, and nuts. Lingering, slightly jam-like finish. Slow, sweet sipper. Quite alright without further excitements. (Tromsø 30.07.2021).

Canned, from Systembolaget. Slightly hazy amber, minimal head. Aroma of vanilla and dough. Sweet with medium to full body and clean mouthfeel. Vanilla, sugar and dough dominates completely. No bitterness. Simplistic and very cloying.

440ml can delivered from the brewery and drunk at home. Pours an orange/amber with a slight haze and a tiny ring of white head. Aroma captures the doughnut character with doughy yeast and vanilla with complementary grassy notes and a tiny hint of berries. Taste is very sweet with more doughy character in the taste, toffee with a slight vegetal edge, with a boozy finish. It is a brilliant idea but I'm not quite convinced that it hangs together as well as it should.
