A pale ale brewed with Freewheel Brewing Co. from California. Golden State is our last trans-atlantic collaboration brew of the year. A blend of US Cascade, German Brewers Gold and English Jester hops combine to create light floral and soft fruit flavours, layered on a Golden Promise base. Dry hopped, with, new to us, US hop strata for an extra burst of fruit flavours.

Clear pale gold with a frothy white head and a soft grassy aroma. Lght bodied with a lemony biscuit taste, tangerine bitterness and a dry bittersweet finish

Cask at the Cardinals Hat Lincoln. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma citrus slight juicy sweet to light bitter. Medium body.

Cask at the roosters tap room. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a creamy white frothy. Aroma is subdued, pale grains, light hedgerow hops., flavour is composed of semi sweet, apple ginger, midget gems, light grass. Palate is soft, cereal, good cask condition.

Cask @ Bowland Beer Company, Clitheroe. Clear golden with a thick creamy-frothy head. It’s hoppy with a honey-like sweetness.
