Head is medium, white, average retention. Colour is deep gold to amber hazy. Aroma is malty, banana, apples, honey, dough touch, bit vinous, caramel. Taste is full malty base, bready, banana, honey touch, bit weak bitterness, bit herbal, soft carbonation, good for the style, enjoyed.

330 ml bottle, purchased as part of a 3-beers giftpack at a food / deli store at Schiphol Airport. ABV is 8.8%. Golden pale brownish colour with the slightest haziness, minimal white head. Aroma of white kandij sugar syrup, malts, alcohol and candied and stewed fruits. Flavour with the same elements, but not as sweet as I feared. Noticeable hops (Saaz and Cascade). Moderately warming mouthfeel.

@home poured into a chalice. Slightly unclear deep golden colour, small fizzy white head, vanishes in awink, no lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, honey, yeast, spicy notes. Mild taste light light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, yeast spicy notes. Light to medium body, thin texture, flat carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, dissapointing effort of Leeghwater (Jopen) though still drinkable.
