Dafen IPA is our take on this ancient beer style. The richness from the caramel malts balances out the big punch from the hops. A big whiff of the tropics is accompanied by crisp citrus and pine flavours, while a rugged bitterness follows with every sip. Invigorating and thirst quenching, it never fails to satisfy.
Hops: Chinook, Simcoe, Citra, Crystal.
Malts: Pale ale malt, Caramalt, Munich malt.

330ml bottle from Bottle & Barrel, Aberystwyth. Misty gold appearance, good white head. Hoppy grapefruit on the nose. Taste is a little thin with bitter marmalade and a crisp, hoppy bite. Probably a bit too bitter and pithy overall, but generally ok.
