A really nice and tasty beer Pleasant and easy drinkable Clear brown pour and a fine tan head Nice mellow aroma and a fine carbonation level Also a fine balanced sweetness. Good duration Bready, fruity, roast and toffee in the flavor [Can @ source]

Can. It's more or less black in the glass, well actually dark brown, with a dark beige head. The aroma has dark chocolate, toffee, hints of coffee and alcohol, some dark dried fruit and a faint smoke touch. It's full bodied, nicely carbonated and semi-dry, with nutty, toffee-ish flavors. Roasted malts, coffee, toffee and a touch of alcohol too. Lasting finish. Quite delicious. 210313

Fra fat på Bøker og Børst: brunsvart med utmerket skum. Mmm, denne beviser at brown ale bør stå på alle menyer - mørke sjokolademuffins, mørke karameller, havrekjeks med sjokoladeglasur, dessertkaffe og et delikat streif av hjemmelaget solbærsyltetøy. Deilig ettersmak med akkurat passelig bitterhet. En utmerket dessert etter maten (en kjempegod chili sin carne).
