This Red Ale has beautiful citrus and pine notes that come from generous addition of Centennial, Citra & Simcoe hops. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with the toasted malts giving it a medium body with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours.

Generous red ale, better than some Irish macro breweries, a perfect red ale with personality, malty, bready, sugar, hop, pleasant aromas, 05.02.19, at Epalinges.

Bottle from Beerwulf. Malty caramel aroma with resinous hops, toffee, modest fruity notes with some citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Nice classic American Amber, good malt and hop meeting.

473mL can. Pours clear amber with small white head. Aroma is slightly malty, but pretty non-existent. Flavour has stale bready malts. Not sure if I'm getting skunky cabbage on this one or if it's just Steamworks trauma.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber-copper with a medium, foamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild aroma of bready caramel malt, toffee, grapefruit rind and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, biscuit, orange, grapefruit and pine needles in a dry, bitter grass finish. Light to medium body with a slick, slightly sticky texture and average carbonation. Tasty, well balanced and easy to drink.
