(Bottle, Aufsturz, Berlin, 15 July 2015) Reddish brown colour, hazy, with frothy beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of crisp-bread, banana and brown sugar. Malty taste with crisp-bread, toasted malt, orange peel and banana. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite enjoyable.

*Old rating. Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. Best before 18.09.10. Nice smooth Hefeweizen. Hints of caramel, fruity-yeast, not too sweet and round.

Bottle: Deep golden, cloudy, big and very slowly collapsing loose white head; sourish-fruity nose with ripe bananas traces of dusty grains and yeast; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, accomanied by a certain bitterness; almost medium bodied, a bit fizzy; slightly lingering fsweetish-caramelly finish with ripe bananas, again. Quite pleasant...

[5/5/14] Bottle at Aufsturz in Berlin. Cloudy amber-brown. Pleasant aroma of fruity esters, caramel, malt, a bit of bubblegum and mild phenolic spiciness. Sweetish flavor with light tartness, banana, caramel, some bubblegum and a light spicy note. Medium-bodied. A very nice Dunkelweizen.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkel orange-goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

500ml bottle. Hazy, dark amber colour with average, frothy, off-white head. Wheaty aroma, slightly fruity, diluted hints of banana, some clove. Taste is wheaty, minimally fruity, dry hoppy and minimally herbal overtones, a touch of bread, some yeast-spiciness. OK Dunkelweizen.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, golden colour with a big and off-white foamy head. Apricot- and citrus-fruity aroma with a touch of wheat, cara-malt and slightly herbal and metallic hops. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavour with a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Wheaty and slightly caramelly taste with present fruity notes; mildly bitter and herbal hoppy finish with slightly tart fruity accents. 04.II.14

Bottle by Dohny, many thanks! Lightly hazy golden colour. Aroma light caramel, lightly nicely grassy hops. Taste is a bit sharp and spicy, clove. Other than taht, lihtly sweetish matly. Not bad, I can imagine drinking a whole bottle.
