Feinstes Caramelmalz und Aromahopfen geben dem dunklen Meckatzer Urweizen seinen Kupfer anmutenden Glanz und vollfruchtigen, runden Geschmack mit kernigem Malzkörper.
Es zeigt sich opak und gekrönt von feinem, beigefarbenen Schaum. Dank der Flaschengärung ist der Antrunk weich und moussierend. Die ausgewählte obergärige Hefe sorgt für Aromen nach Apfel, Zitrus und gelben Früchten wie Ananas, Pfirsich und Banane. Erst im Ausklang übernehmen Karamell- und Toffeenoten das Regiment und sorgen für ein kerniges Finale.

Bottle @ Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. Pours cloudy amber with a small white head. Tart fruit and wheat. Some sweet banana. Medium bodied.

Pours a very dark yellow with a small white head. So cloudy it looks like banana puree. Aroma is wheat banana and lemon.

Bottled 500ml. -Murky orange/amber coloured, big off-white head, fruity and light yeasty nose. Wheaty, yeasty banana taste with notes of alcohol and caramel. Too strong carbonation but pleasant weizen.

Bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass in the middle between helles and dunkles hefeweizen. Starts malty-yeasty, not too dry, some caramel notes, fruity notes of apricot. Well balanced finish, modest yeasty, quite drinkable. Not bad!

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. DArk yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy and yeasty aroma. Nice fruity hefe notes. Moderate bitter fruity flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate but a little too fizzy.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Unclear sparkling medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, barnyard, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is lively. [20090924]

bottle. Amber-brown colour, very large and very persistent head, creamy. Hints of caramel and banana, yeasty character. Wel-balanced - a lovely Hefeweizen.

(Bottle 50 cl) Strong orangey golden bordering on light brown, but not dark enough to be a "Dunkles". Unfiltered with obvious yeast sediment and a very small fine "cappuccino-head". Very soft and fresh, but also with some fullness and a rather surprising bitterness. 100304

Bottle.Orange colour. Nice wheaty and malty smell, with hints of bananas. The tast is malty, spicy and lots of citrus and bananas. Has a wheaty aftertaste. Tastes more like a normal weissbier than a dunkel one.

Banana and citrus aroma, bready notes. Cloudy orange, ok head. Banana, spice, citrus tastenotes. Not quite as much power in the taste as I would like. Fizzing mouthfeel. Grain aftertaste.
