Unusual name, unusual beer! The “Waggle Dance” is the movement a bee performs to alert the hive to a source of nectar. The Waggle Dance beer is a beautifully balanced, sneakily seductive, golden coloured beer. it is popular both as a cask ale (Alc. 4.0% Vol.) and in 500ml bottle (Alc. 5.0% Vol.) across a wide range of beer lovers both male and female and of all (legal) drinking ages.

0.5l bottle. Dark golden/light amber body, white head. Aroma of bread, grains, honey and some floral hops. Taste of bread, honey and floral hops. The aftertaste is mostly light hoppy. Medium body, easy to drink. Nice one.

Poured from a 500mL bottle. Clear, pale yellow, with dissipating white head. Sour yeasty aroma with definite skunk. Grainy malt flavour with hint of honey, but tastes very watered down and disappointing.

Cask. Golden appearance. Virtually no aroma. Taste - Foster’s lager (without the high carbonation) with a bit of honey in the aftertaste. Watery. This might as well have been served from a keg. It’s not offensive - easy drinking but tastes of virtually nothing. A very poor cask ale.

Cask at the White Horse. Clear gold, foamy white head. Dim malt aroma. A bit of sugar in the flavor, some faint bitters, misplaced tang. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bland finish. Not great condition.
