Beginnend met klein tanine zuurtje, gevolgd door een complexiteit aan verschillende (14 soorten) gebrande en gecaramelliseerde mouten. Licht droppig door de dryhop die na de vergisting is gedaan. Bitterheid wordt in balans gehouden door de zoetheid van de hoge restsuikers in dit bier.

330 ml bottle. Pours almost black with fizzy dar tan head that settles quickly. Aromas of sweet bourbon, flat oak, dark fruit, and soft roasted malts. Flavors of oak, light watery bourbon, raisins and toasted malts with a slight sourness. Nice, though malt base seems a bit light and bourbon notes are limited.

Bottle at home, black beer, small beige head. Aroma is malt, roast, fruit, sweet. Taste is the same, bittersweet, fruit, roasted malt, some alcohol, sweet, molasses sweet syrup, dry almost tart aftertaste. Not bad but has a meh aftertaste
